Our crazy Leprechaun has been in Taiwan and except for enjoying the amazing food he's also been playing lots of games with our friends who live there.
He finally had the chance to meet Yu Wang, the designer of Blade and Rose and Energy Apex and play with him a few rounds of his games in person.
Don't be confused by the small box, this game is a perfect introduction to Euro Games, the mechanics are simple but deep at the same time. You can play a game in less than 10 minutes and you can then sequence plays together for a more complete experience.
Speaking about the theme: Energy Apex is based on the utilization of various energy sources. Do you see the game better with a realistic and down to Earth art, or would you prefer a more futuristic theme? Or maybe even Solar Punk?
